nokia store shortcut missing after hard reset

Hello all,
Have a N8 running Belle refresh UK variant

did a hard reset to free up space and afterwards nokia/ovi store shortcut was missing.
reinstalled store in both C: and E: no shortcut was created.
have the sisx file and works but cant get a shortcut onto home screen.
any ideas? might need old ovi store sisx?

Sorry, i have to reword this .
Nokia Store is working? The app is in your menu, you just can't create a homescreen shortcut?

sorry if I was confusing.

not hacked
file installed is the  "Nokia store installer" ver 3.30(18) 5mb
that shows up in the "already installed" section
the file is currently in E;  when I open it the nokia store starts, but does not show as an app anywhere for me to create a shortcut or widget from. 
looking in  nokia suite I see the usual suspects(ovistore_2002D07F.., but that I fear is unreliable since its last look was before the hard reset.

Sorry, but i am even more confused now.
Nokia Store is or is not working on your phone? The app you mention in app manager is the installer, not Nokia Store. You said it starts, do you mean installation starts or Store starts?
The file you mention in Nokia Suite - do you mean in the applications folder on your PC?

when I click on the installer it does indeed install and the nokia store client opens and connects online.

when I close it does not stay installed, everything closes both installer and app.
hope this helps clarify.

what I am looking at are the files nokia suite sees on my device N8 installed apps.

i'm really sorry for my incomplete assistance mate.
Try uninstalling anything Store related in the App Manager and see if you can use SW update to install it.
If that doesn't work, we can try something else.

tried uninstall all nokia store files so far no offer on sw update to reinstall.
My gut feeling is that I am missing some ovi file.
When I try to got to the nokia store website I am redirected to an ovi page that fails to fully load and hangs up.   http://store.ovi.mobi/default/index/clientsplash/

i am not at home/on the PC, so i am a little handicapped at the moment. Can you try via Nokia Suite's software update? Last ditch, try BetaLabs. Register and search for Nokia Store to get an installer there. i will check in with you when i can get on the PC for more info.

Hi Matthew,
thanks for your assistance,  I tried another download via wifi nokia store as before and when attempting to launch received a "download error" message.  again this was from opening the file in E; letting it install and open then trying to download it again while it was open...no luck  after closing the app all disappears.
tried via nokia suite and after the install the app does not open and the app disappears.

I still think I am missing an ovi file somewhere.  It appears that a missing ovi file is a redirect link to opening and installing nokia store?  thats my theory.
could not find an installer for the N8 on the beta labs only windows.  anyway I have an installer file, its just not installing?

This is the initial Belle offline installer from BetaLabs. It does not require a connection.

couldn't figure out how to paste image in dialogue box.  see attachments
002 is after the installer ran and attempting another install of Nokia store.  recall that after closing Nokia store no shortcut remains after installer has run OR during the attempted reinstall.
003 occurs when visiting nokia store via the web and attempted opening.
004 installations

regarding question on grid/list view, yes I had changed from list to grid view.

You can upload images to DumpYourPhoto and embed them easily by clicking the Advanced links button and copying the UBB image link.

Here you can see Nokia Store will not show in installations,
so what i wanted to see was images of your menu:
