I bought a Nokia 808 on ebay.
The phone was advertised as not working so It was as advertised and I was hoping to just install Delight to get the phone back up and running- however it's not going very smoothly.
I've installed Delight 1.8, everything goes fine until the message saying the phone is in 'Test Mode' then it freezes and wont move on.
I pull the battery, the phone starts up and it goes through the phases - phase 1- then 2 then 3- all the way up to 5 then it reboots.
Once the phone has rebooted, it appears that Delight has been installed- its got all the menus ect etc- but when I go into 'Settings', the phone freezes for about 30 seconds and is unresponsive- after about 30 seconds, the phone responds again and I can access the settings ie 'Themes' etc.
When I open up the Camera app- it works fine, takes photos and videos with no issues- however when I touch the small thumbnail on the botton left of the camera app to display the last photo taken the phone again freezes for about 30 seconds then closes the camera app.
The same thing happens when I access 'Gallery'- I have all the thumbnails of my photos but when I go to look at one, the phone freezes and boots me out of the Gallery.
I've been told this is an eMMC issue- but if that was the case then surely I'd not be able to flash the phone at all??
Any suggestions as to how to sort this issue out if possible?
I've tried quite a few things- likes of hard reset- reformatting the mass memory, reflashing with Delight, old stock firmware, Mohican- and they all show the same issue with freezing when accessing Gallery and Settings??
Any advice or suggestions would be welcome?
