qooMail is coming...
« on: April 10, 2013, 11:42:44 pm »
Hello everyone,

after long hard work, we are proud to preview some screens of our newest project called: 'qooMail'.
It's a mail client app which handles all accounts together and show the recent or unread mails in a little widget.

If you have some suggestions, needed features - please post it here.

While from suggestions: Make a second widget as standard in Belle (8x3). The rest of the sentence, after release in NokiaStore.

After updating BELLE refresh on my C7 the Contact list does not allow to call a member with more than one number. So I have just developed a app that give me a plain list of all numbers, where I can make a call. Just a bugfix of BELLE for me, because I dont want to flash my C7.
If someone is interested in such an app, we can develop this app to a professionell app and release them...

For your suggestion: What would you seen on second widget?

As I understand from your words, the program will support any mail account, and how much you want. So widget blow letters show only a specific account? And one more question: At what drive letters are stored (called Kesh)? For example, in ProfiMail they sohranayutsya along the way: E:/system/data/ProfiMail/mail/.

Thanks guys,

the app uses all accounts created with the internal symbian mail system.
The content of a mail is therefore stored like the internal symbian mail app.
But attachments can be stored somewhere else.
The Body-text of the mail will be reformatted as plain text to have a better reading
on mobile. Maybe I can implement so features like URL-Links or Numbers to Contacts. Nice Idea.

Nevertheless, very good ideas...

Would it be possible to create new mail boxes from the app itself as well ?
Tbh the default mail client is awful, even worse trying to set up an account

We provide an 'addon' to the system mail accounts. So its the same encryption like you configured in symbian. Also the receive and read confirmation is done like the standard app.
The main improvement is the notification light, a widget and an app that shows all your account in one list. We using some more gestures like standard symbian to start functions like reply or deletion of a mail.
Actually we are working on version 1.1 which will fix some major bugs and brings some new features.
