hello,  i have a N8, and i have a slightly annoying issue.

when dialing a number, it does not seem to 'predict' the number you are trying to call.  but rather lists people on my contact list by their name.

but i want to do the opposite. i want to start typing a number and have the phone try to fill in the rest of the number w/o me having to type it in... is there any way?

for example, what i want is to start typing a phone number, lets say i start with 337 and the phone will be smart enough to look through my contacts and try to predict who i am calling.

but right now, i type 33 and it will list 2 names on my contact list, then when i type 7 the two names disappear and it does not list anything else, and i have to finish typing in the entire set of numbers =/

i dont know if what i am explaining will make any sense, but it kind of makes my contact list useless.

it will not work for you . Ultimately you have to dial olmost the whole number :)
take it like this . If you have 100 contacts and 50 of them have starting number  999 or 8295 .
If you dial these numbers you still have to search those 50 contacts !!
And i think it's easy to rem. Names than a no. ;)
