i think this applies the rule of modern marxism, to survive the competition they try to innovate and cope to the younger generation today, since it has the biggest market share. To think most nokia lovers started adoring with nokia phones in the later part of the 90's and early part of 2000, which makes them in their late 20's and early 30's (which includes me) . Im not saying all younger generations dont appreciate nokia products, but most of them do appreciate new technology, and they may label nokia products as a past technology.

Sample, my friend wants to buy a new phone, he preferred a local made phone rather a nokia 2100. I tried persuading him but still insisted the local made one, because it has touch screen capabilities, without thinking quality. After a month, his phone was unusable and bought a nokia 2100.

Nokia will surely have to Plan B... Only depends when it start acting on any Plan B. But it is surely moving towards that direction very fast...

I am sure, in next 2 quaters, some serious shakeup will happen and Nokia has to either take Android route or Symbian. Although I would love Nokia to take Meego further, but I suspect there might not be too many people left for it.

Just hoping that MS will not buy all patents and take over SmartPhone Unit of Nokia!

Keeping my fingers crossed...
