what if symbian belle was out before Android or ios?

hie guys what do you think about this:
If symbain belle was released befr android or ios?
Do you think android would have been this famous or still been in the market? I dnt think so....moreover nokia's phone are not jst piece of plastic....they really feel good to hold in hand...somethg really solid.....

It has been 2 years, i m using nokia c7....and today also its as good as new.....not a single visible scrach on it :) and only nokia's symbain can support stuffs tht other phones dnt....
I wish nokia had released symbain belle pf2 in 2009-10 and  was as famous as other os are today.....
Just imagine symbain belle in nokia lumia 920..... ::)

what do you all think?

Well, nokia would have never lost their best smart phone seller title... which was for many years.

dont :) what you think? Why are the updates named as features pack 1 features pack 2 instead stylish names as carla or donna? Coz they are providing updates in 'packs' until a big update and surely in future will require dual core to work it ;) i feel inside update will be as big as s60v5 to symbian^3 ;) ;) well !! Fingers crossed and hope i am right ! :D

yea hope you are right......but nokia is current promoting only lumia phones.......so hopes are very less :(

Wish nokia was promoting symbain as its promoting lumia......I went to nokia pirority with a friend few days back as he wanted to buy n8....but those people were not interested in selling n8 instead they convinced him for lumia 800 ::)
So does this mean nokia is no longer going to make symbain phones :(

mayb just because they r "stable" and hardwarically better , symbian smartphones r going through updates continously to be made betted and better + they lack good hardware like no good processor no good sensors like gyroscope etc etc. While lumia is stable , mayb thats why currently nokia willing to advertise them only till symbian reaches back its stability

But symbain is on maintenance mode........That means no more updates  :( right? ::)
