Mate;
1. Use Software Reset instead of Refurbish
2. Do not turn on the phone. Instead, remove the battery and click Update Software and a dialog box will appear. At this point, insert the battery and click the Ok button to proceed
Maybe try also:
Disable automatic selection and manually select the FW you want to use
Uninstall your Phoenix and install 2012.50. S60 OS9x seems to like v2012.50.

I installed the version you told me and followed your instructions without success. I get the same error as before.
I'm losing hope of getting my phone back to life.  :(

There will be no giving up here, mate. what is the absolute path of the directory where you are placing your FW files? Where did you get your files and please list all the files you are using to flash.

There will be no giving up here, mate. what is the absolute path of the directory where you are placing your FW files? Where did you get your files and please list all the files you are using to flash.

I'm using a notebook with Windows 7. Phoenix is installed on :

C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix

All the FW files are on:

C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\rm-159

I'm no sure from where I got the FW files, because I was searching through many Symbian related sites and most of the links were dead. But the files which I downloaded installed without errors and no viruses. I downloaded a file named RM-159_LTA_35.0.002_v8.0_N95.exe and copied my original FW files (v 30.0.015) from Nokia Suite folder on my computer.
This is the list of the files on RM-159 folder. I'm not sure what files are used on the flash update, since Phoenix select them automatically based on my choice of FW version.

Mate, your file situation is a mess  ???
If those are exactly as they exist on your computer, you would have to rename them to their proper designations (delete the numbers after the files extensions).
You should have six files that more or less are named like these:
Rm-1XX_XX.X.XXX_Pr.c0r
Rm-1XX_XX.X.XXX_Pr.v24
Rm-1XX_XX.X.XXX_Xxx_U06_Uda.fpsx
Rm-1XX_xxxxxxx_XX.X.XXX_001.dcp
Rm-1XX_xxxxxxx_XX.X.XXX_001_Signature.bin
Rm-1XX_xxxxxxx_XX.X.XXX_001.vpl

You said you are in South America, right? What is the model number (RM) under your battery? If you are using a NAM phone (which is RM-160) you should be flashing the SW v35.2.1
You can get the RM-160 files here http://www.mrcrab.net/nokia/Nokia_N95.html?productType=RM-160&releaseID=2493588875&version=35.2.1
RM-159 is here http://www.mrcrab.net/nokia/Nokia_N95.html?productType=RM-159&releaseID=2646703126&version=35.0.2
i would try changing the file names if that is how they are on your computer, though.

Hello again,

Sorry about the delay to answer. I had tons of work to do with a tight deadline....
Anyway, I removed all the files from my note. Did a fresh install of Phoenix.
My phone is RM-159. I downloaded all the files for this model from the site you post the links and placed them on C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-159.
But now, when I click on "Firmware Update" I receive this message:
"Neither DP1.0 nor DP2.0 was found for the Product, or the Product cannot be identified."

Did you correct the file names? They have to be named like the download links except spaces have to be underscores (ie RM-159_35.0.002_pr.c0r). Also, all my flashing files are in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Nokia\Packages\Products\Rm-159\

Mate, the Phoenix and JAF software specifically state downgrading will kill your phone.
Send it to Nokia.

Did you correct the file names? They have to be named like the download links except spaces have to be underscores (ie RM-159_35.0.002_pr.c0r). Also, all my flashing files are in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Nokia\Packages\Products\Rm-159\

I believe the filenames are correct. Here is my filelist:

RM159_31.0.002_039_U01_uda.fpsx 49751623
RM159_0546222_35.0.002_001.dcp 15593
RM159_0546222_35.0.002_001.vpl 3690
RM159_0546222_35.0.002_001_signature.bin 797
RM-159_35.0.002_PR.C0R 73710930
RM-159_35.0.002_PR.v19 12656256

Maybe something else is missing. When I installed the installer package with the firmware I mentioned before, Phoenix did not complain about nothing, but cant flash my phone.
I tried to put those files on the folder you said, but the result is the same.

No, I did not tried to downgrade my phone. I tried to reinstall its software using Nokia Suite, and the process stopped and my phone went dead. It only shows the word Nokia when I turn it on.
Now I'm trying to recover my phone using this tutorial and I'm using a newer firmware for my model.

The numbers are the filesizes, so it can help you identify if I got the wrong files, but I don't think so.
My file structure are the same as pointed in your link. Still got the same error message.

Yeah. The phone got killed.
Is there any other way to get it alive other than sending it to nokia?
Thanks.
1. Pull your battery and hold the power button for about 15 seconds
 2. Open Phoenix and select File>Open Product
 3. Select RM-495
 4. Leave Connections: as NO CONNECTION
 5. Select Flashing>Firmware Update
 6. Select your product code and choose the NEWEST firmware
 7. Check Dead phone USB flashing
 8. Press the SW Reset button
 9. When prompted, connect your USB cable to the phone and insert the battery
10. Press OK

At this point, Phoenix should do the job.
If not, then you need the tool that connects directly to your phone via the contacts underneath the battery.
There may be other centers to get the phone flashed using the tool than just by Nokia. Try asking at mobile retailers to see if they service phones.
