How to compress files?

i used winrar and right clicked on file and clicked add to archive after the size was same as the orignal one..!! :'( :'(

You need to select the compression type slow fast normal etc. Select slowest one and enjoy decompressION

didn't got u...i selected fastest ,atore and normal both were giving the same size as it is..!!even 7z give 100kb size increased..!

what file is it actually? And all can't give normal results :( normal is fine and fastest sucks

u can't compress sis files, mp3 etc...
Use 7-z Its a better software... and in WinRar, always select.. "Best" not fastest

sorry but there are ways! Can't be sure because we can't i mean i can't compress that much. And would lead unrecoverable loss of data.
