A CalDAV implementation
« on: January 07, 2013, 03:41:16 pm »
Hi guys,

As Google will cease to allow sync via Exchange at the end of the month, people using activesync only to sync calendar have various possibilities :

1. Migrate to another provider. Hotmail has a young and immature calendar, one feature I'm missing to replace Google is the autoaccept meeting request feature
2. Pay for a proxy service between activesync and Google

What about a small app, which would take as an input: username/pwd, and would then, using the CalDAV protocol (API is available), sync the google calendar with one of our Symbian device.

It's "just" writing the missing module, and we don't need contacts/mails sync to do this.

A paid app would be understandable, but not a service (X $ / month).

Sounds feasible to you?
