Symbian phones already support JAVA apps. No special trick is required  :)

Then it must be the problem with the app. Try to use .jar file instead of .jad or vice versa

i know that as example ebuddy application its not work
use ebuddy .sis file ! Its made for s^4. Dont use java for that
