Dialing and making calls from pc

After coupling my N95 and pc i can write and send sms from my pc using pc suite.But i cant dial and call numbers from my pc. call option is greyed out.So how can i manage this?

Why you want to connect your phone to pc and make a call from pc when you already have the phone  You actually mean pc suite or nokia suite?

It is working on the E72 (FP2); perhaps your FP1 device isn't supported.

Here is what i want to do:

When a mail is received to my email address an automated call to a predetermined number will be made and an audio file will be played so that the person picking up my call hears it.

If this is possible without using a pc it will be better.I mean when a mail is received to my nokia mail inbox it will initiate a call and at the same time play an audio file.

If this isnt possible i plan to manage this by connecting my pc with my n95.I will use windows task scheduelr or sth like that so that when my pc detects a new email it will automatically make a call from my phone.

This could be possible with situation app by pastilli but situation is not available for your device.

Delete all text and replace with "."
That's as close to deleting a post as you can get on your own.

To automate something of that nature - it sounds like an app would be required.

If there isnt such an app then i can use my pc to do the automation.I only need an app to make a call from pc like pc suite.

Have you looked at the Windows Telephony options? i wouldn't be surprised to find an option inbuilt in Windows (but probably well-hidden).

In phone and modem section in modem tab when i click on add it opens a window saying select bluetooth device and shows my phone.I select it and click add.Then it shows my phone as

standard modem over bluetooth link         and

as modem.After i choose i open dialer.exe and enter the number there is a pop up in my phone saying "accept connection request from ..." like it says when you connect with bluetooth.After i accept it says "lift the receiver and click talk" but the called phone doesnt ring.

Not modems, mate, Telephony options. It may or may not still exist in Windows7 and i am experiencing "technical difficulties" with my Control Panel at the moment...

There is dialer at C:\Windows\System32 in win7.In its tools tab there is dialing properties -rules.

Perhaps integrating dialer with task scheduler could work.But still i dont know how to make a call on pc.

Mate, you're still looking at modem programs. Dialler is for making modem connections automatically.
Does your N95 support VoIP?

I never tried but it seems so according to google.But i cannot use voip because voip services cannot call emergency lines.

i don't want to completely obliterate your hope, but i sincerely doubt there is an app to make this happen on that phone, mate
