USB otg development: Support for more device
« on: July 05, 2012, 03:34:30 pm »
Hello to all,

I was thinking that how to add support for USB devices on N8. I know N8 already support mouse, keyboard, USB mass storage device. But how can we add some new device to the USB stack of N8. I searched on Internet but I hardly found anything related to development on the USB otg on N8.
If anyone knows anything Please share with us as well.

Thanks

I think its a lot down to hardware as its only a phone and it even gives power warnings when plugging a usb stick into it .

yaaaa.. Even I found the power warnings. but it is suggested to use external powered hub and connect your device through that. I think that would avoid the power warning.

But, how can we add any new device such that n8 can recognise it. Devices that I'm more interested are Modems, serial devices.. Any suggestions??
