is it not in settings -phone -phone management-security settings -phone and sim card-lock code ??

i wanted to perform a hard reset so i dialed *#7370# then it asked for security code , i tried 12345 and 0000 it warned wrong code that means someone else have put that code. So i want to reset code! :'(

Try this bro. From google search.

TOTAL RESET OR HARD RESET NOKIA 500:
First turn off the phone.
Press and hold ANSWER   REJECT   CAMERA KEYS.
Turn on the device by pressing the on button until the Nokia logo appear.
IMPORTANT: to proceed to reset the mobile device battery must be full and connected to the charger. If during the course of the reset and the device stop receiving electricity, it can ruin the  internal flash memory and the device stop functioning.
3 results gave the same warning on the device might endup a total brick.
Why not flashing it and set a new security code.
Safer i think compared to the solutions on the web.

I don't know how to reset code via phoenix. I can flash but i don't know where is that option for code reset.

If i activate my security code when i flashed my phone. On first boot it will asked for it. When i enter my lock code, it gives me error. But, that code become my new lock code.
As for hard reset have you tried with vol up or down or nokia 500 doesn't have it also.
