Hi again
A standard webcam is not designed for the pounding it is going to take in a downhill race
Yes you are right matthew.
But that was a mine example of use.
As for GoPro...
Yes it is designed for survival but for me is too expensive as device for 1 purpose.
And I try the bike mount for my N8 but after i fell off it (because i fail doing some trick for friends)
After the bike smashed to concrete floor the phone fell off the mount (I don't know how??) and you all here know what happend...
The result:
I must change whole chassis + upper and bottom cover.
And video file was shaky/useless because my bike does not have suspension on front wheel.
Then I try First Person view video - N8 attached to helmet. The video was great but honestly having your phone attached to your forehead on helmet is not safe for me and and for the device (not waterproof, etc)
But having someting like this:
or
attached inside or outside of helmet "like camera helmet" and usb cable goes safely to phone. there is no worry if i fell off or broke the camera i will have the phone in pocket recording...
There are many applications for this feature as you always carry your phone in your pocket.
Another example:"Car DVR" with phone main back cam as car front cam and rear via usb webcam.
+ N8 and 808 have Tv out, so even able to see the picture on larger screen that is mounted in car.
Allstar12345don't think there is anyone with the expertise left to do this sort of thing
Please dont see it so Black and white... There must be still someone that is able to do it.
"If this phones have unloked boot-loader" and can run custom android at least 4.0 ver i will migrate...
But all we here know that is way more
"not possible" as this S^3 driver/app issue.
Create whole custom android Rom designed for Symbian hardware running native.
That's ImpossibleI like this Symbian enviroment its so unique and i have no problems with it
And
"I Want to S^3 Continue"
