Hello Guys,
Just registered and wanted to introduce myself little. Have been waiting patiently with my N-8 for something to happen to policy of my service provider (Rogers) that is blocking availability of upgrade to Symbian-Belle. Unfortunately all info that I'm getting from everywhere is, that it is dead end and there will be no update at all. Sucks. :(
So I've come to this forum looking for help with unbranding my phone. But that is theme for another topic.
My Symbian knowledge is just on user level and I've never modded or flash this system, I do however successfully unlocked and tweaked past phones as Motorola V3 Razr and Blackberry Pearl, I know, I know completely other systems. On PC side I consider myself bit more able to do things.
Basically I want to unbrand the phone and upgrade to Belle and that it is.
I love the N-8 for its look, camera and even the Symbian^3 as I'm sick of people to brag of theirs iPhones or Androids, personally I'm always on the other side of mainstream.
I'd like to thanks upfront to everybody for any help I can get.
