How do I update 808 Pureview firmware from 113.010.1507 to 113.010.1508?

Hi,

I just got my new 808 Pureview today. As I am living in Finland, the latest firmware to it is is 113.010.1507 (the language in my phone is Finnish).

How do I update the firmware to 113.010.1508? I know some people i Finland have updated theirs but I do not know how.

I was googling a bit and I found that people using a program called Navifirm+ have gotten the message "service specific exception:com.nokia.posti.server.caresuite.webservice.unauthorized fault" when trying to make a modificaton.

I really would like to have the latest firmware on this Pureview 808; how should I proceed to make the update-if an update is even possible? I'd even pay for it.

I have not ever made any modifications to any phone, so I have no practical background on the matter. Please bear that in mind. I would really appreciate any help I can get.

Hi,

To be honest, there isn't much point in updating, we never received a change log and no-one has seen and noticeable changes in the update.

But, if you really want the update I can provide the download links to the firmware, you will need to flash you're device with it.

Hi!

Please do; I would really like to have that one even if the changes are not that significant. Especially now when I have just received the 808 and have not yet added widgets to it (I will add fMobi, Gravity etc. when the firmwareupdate is done).

In this Firmware, does it matter which language I have as default language (=Finnish) at the moment; does the update modify the language or does it stay as the same? Not that it is an issue; just asking.

Flash your 808 with phoenix, first download the latest firmware.
