In S^3/Anna/Belle and beyond, you want CORE\Private\2000d75b\Startup\0\noncriticalcmdlist....rsc
Only these three resources should be touched and it is really tricky in S^3 because most apps that are not critical are found in the UDA. These startup apps are found in C:\Private\101f875a\...\
You can research more on this in tutorials by jnx_r at Daily Mobile http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.php?topic=52426.msg658997#msg658997 and LRajesh555 at Gizmolord http://forum.gizmolord.com/custom-firmware-discussions/ultimate-tutorial-to-create-your-own-custom-firmware-(cfw)-(by-lrajesh555)/msg64169/#msg64169
These are really useful introductory tutorials on modding the starters.
You can even go from there and make and add your own starters to the !\Private\101f875a\ directory by pulling another starter file and modding its UID and target using RESEdit.
Make sure to ask questions about what you do not know before doing it to avoid bricking =o)

True, but i do not presume to be answering the poster.
When Googling subjects, i often find these threads and am disappointed by the lack of answers, so if i spot a thread that i know something about, i like to add some information for anyone who finds the thread looking to learn something.
