[Question] Porting Belle's SysAp to Anna?
« on: November 04, 2013, 10:34:45 pm »
In my edit of Anna for E6, i found i like the black "NOKIA" startup and shutdown sequence for Belle Refresh better than Anna's white "Nokia Connecting People" version.
The splash screen was not an issue (splashscreen.mif, splashscreen.exe and done!), but sysap.mif, sysapshutdown.mif and sysap.exe bricks the phone. If i just use sysap.mif, i have the black shutdown mif with two horrible white bars on the sides and no animation, either. i am convinced that the .exe is what is responsible for the blacked out screen but it does not seem to work on Anna.
i have tried making a new .mif, but it looks really bad (can't seem to get the scaling correct).
Is there a way to make the Belle sysap work on Anna?

Thank you

I don't think so, it would have changed a considerable amount from the Anna-Belle Transition, though a 480x640 black image with a white Nokia Logo should be easy enough surely? Or is the scaling really that pissed?

Thanks, mate :)
The mif is nvg, so i couldn't export it and work with it as a base.
It was pretty bad, but it was my first time using Inkscape, so it was likely 100% user incompotence.
Maybe i should see about the new SISContents software Aquarius has built with nvg > svg export so i have a better base graphic to use.
Thank you for letting me know SysAp.exe is not the solution ;)
