Author Topic: PAID: Belle Extra Buttons Updated To v 1.7.0 (16-10-2012)  (Read 3869 times)

Strange, allot of bugs fixed but i still won't buy it. Why? Cause i won't use it. Why? Cause now has the biggest "bug" of them all, besides the fact that you cannot see the percentage of your battery in that small icon cause the background is to dark... those invisible buttons in first generation s^3 devices are highly unneeded. Those invisible buttons instead of helping me, they just stay in my way. Is ANNOYING. I want to drag the notifications bar down, phone locks or the bar is not responding, i'm used to drag the bar down from corners... I made a call in 2g network, after i hang up, my network was in 3g mode, i have no clue how i cloud touch that small thing but i did it. i have tried this software from the begining, when it was just 99 cent... and never used it more then a day. Now, after so many updates it is still not good for me. So i'm always going back to my good old lanternsoft extra buttons. Though yesterday after i've seen the spects of this new update, i said. Man maybe now is finally worth buying...

Just to clarify, i've used this on belle for a bit and not had any issues with the buttons, sometimes they get a little stuck but you just need to tap them and its fixed ;)

The program had allot of issues, from: slowing down system start-up to not auto-start to slow working buttons and this was only with the latest updates, before, we're annoying bugs, battery was always 100%... but that does not matter now, cause most of them are fixed. Now, what's very annoying for me, are exactly the new futures... I cannot adapt those invisible buttons situated up. They are annoying and useless if you have the bottom buttons.... There should be an option to change those buttons or not to use them at all. this option should be also for bottom buttons. Then, i will give it another shot. if i still don't like it. i stop testing it and stay with my old settings. Simple and useful:)

Ektos' , there's no problem about complaining, but complain about things that need complaining.

MrAlshahawy reacted very quick after mails he recived and he did a great job, i don't think a lot of people could do better without having the system he was suposed to work on (FP2) and for a "blind" fixing, i think he managed to make something good.

I promise you will complain at the right moment one day :p

@MrAlshahawy You have my morale support, i love the improvement you give to us for Symbian and don't understand why it wasn't built in already ! Since you are on the forum now, keep us updated on your future work here too please :-)

My complaints were not unfounded, this app always had errors, so i complained about things that needed complaining. The only thing i did wrong, was the fact that i didn't read MrAlshahawy's post that he's gonna fix (again) the bugs. At the state this app is right now is worth 1.99 euro maximum, MAXIMUM. So for 5 euros, people expect no da*n bugs.Nobody said he is not trying, also, nobody said he's not good. But i still prefer the original app right now, simple and working. Though this app has also the most annoying bug: buttons appearance in widget menu, options menu and others.

You cannot randomly put a price on an app like that, MrAlshahawy puts so much hard work and dedication into his apps, they deserve the 4 euro, Pound price tag.

You first need to understand that nothing in this world is 100% perfect. We're humans and we tend to make mistakes so if you find any bug you give ur feedback and he'll try his best to make it 100% perfect.

WOW... take it easy guys:))). I can imagine how much work it is, be calm, i work in gadgets/ pc area. I know how much time it takes to do things. But... when I do something, i struggle to make the best out of it, only after that i sell my skills. It takes maybe to long to do it, but i do it! And it's dam* well done. I'm not gonna do half measures or quarters. But this is me, maybe i expect to much. I never said he doesn't try, i also didn't say that my price is what he should have on this app. I just gave my opinion. i repair pc-s... so... when you come to me.. you expect for the money i charge, that rig to work like a fly machine that's for shore! i don't think you will like me bringing that rig back to you half done, i will fix the bugs soon, but to charge you the same money as if it worked 99%. That's all i'm saying. This is me, i don't sell my work half done:). i know that's not the same... but that's why was beta programs invented, for people to try stuff on different machines.
