You sure it said "Loading boot ROM failed" ?
It must have encountered an issue when installing, since it's an ROM App upgrade.

Let me explain you everything from very first moment. I installed the SIS files of the update provided by Abdoul Ghany Hamameh. After that I restarted my phone for the update to take effect. Phone restarted normally. I used the new features in gallery like Mark and send via Bluetooth and I was about to connect my phone to charger, "Battery empty" message was shown and the phone switched off. I connected it to charger and the phone took almost 10 minutes to boot up completely and "Loading boot ROM failed" was shown before complete boot up. It was running too slow. I opened the File manager and there I noticed that when I clicked E: drive i.e. mass memory, "Memory in use" was shown though the phone wasn't connected to my PC via Bluetooth or via USB. I tried normal and dead phone flashing using Phoenix but normal flashing (refurbish) didn't work and in dead phone flashing mode, Phoenix couldn't detect my phone, it failed. Today I took it to Nokia Care, they flashed it using Nokia care Suite but still it was "AS IT IS". They opened it and noticed that it's a HW problem. So they decided to send it to Nokia India Headquarters for further repairing. I'm gonna miss my phone

hi friends, i installed all the files on my Nokia 808 with belle FP2, but in excitement, i just forgot to restart my phone. the upside is phone is working normal but sometimes the gallery isn't working well, some pics are shown "broken", as well as the scrolling is laggy. the camera is ok but as DAVEMAN01 mentioned sometimes it doesnt focus properly, sometimes it is k. please help me what should i do ??

Try re installing all the files maybe you forget to install one of this files

Now I know.. Bye bye phone. Maybe an idea to put a warning with it? Now excuse me, I'm of buying myself a Samsung

Not everyone is a Nokia-nerd. I thought I had a Belle FP2. I'm just suggesting it's maybe better to put a warning, because my phone is dead now and don't want other people to make the same mistake!
