A gapless audio player for Symbian^3, recursively playing backfile system folders, oriented on lossless compression and supporting the following formats: wav, lpcm, flac, ape/mac, mp3, ogg, aac and cuesheets.
Changelog:
- Fixed playlist file sorting
- Camera button is excluded from"Use hardware button" option

I can't track of every App update you know.
And Daily mobile has it, you was not forced to download from a warez site.......

Actually yesterday is the first time i use folderplay just to see what it is all about.I heard about it read about it even installed it but never use it. :D :D :D

i like to use it on v3 because it uses very little resources - so i can listen to music while using Opera.
i like it on S^3 because the music player in Anna is less than mind-blowing ::)
Really, Nokia? No grouping by artist?
(There is an option to add all songs by an artist to a playlist in one click in Anna, though)

I say... "Must have" music player to symbian OS and is my top M-player always... Sad that development is not continuing even i support the demidov71 many years ago... Last ver 1.23(32) belle :( and no info about how to propper use the extended .cue sheets compability... How to repeat song in cue sheet or how to replay played file... :(

Hi all please is someone here able to make "fix" for FolderPlay v.1.23.32 to enable "File command" in ".Cue sheets" as Folder Play somehow "ignore" that command line in .cue file... ???

In readme from version 1.7 is...
1. Added support for CUE sheets. Those work only with FLAC, APE and OGG as follows:
a) A CUE file must reside in the same folder and have the same name as audio file, it belongs to. FILE command is ignored.

d) Each track is merely an entry into the corresponding file, so no track rewinding.

Well sad... As I am using FP for playing custom music gapless (.ogg) and if i want to play for example
"Same file twice" I must "clone this file" and rename it (file1.ogg file2.ogg) having occupied "useless" 1.2mb as example folder below
Folder:Test------
1beginning.ogg / 335kb
2loop.ogg / 1.2mb
4Main.ogg / 1.8mb
5loop.ogg / 1.2mb ----- Same File as 2loop
7 end.ogg / 510 kb
Folder:Test------
The "dummy file" as alias will help or shortcut to file that will tell FP to play 2loop.ogg
In PC Windows... shortcuts are playable in most music players...
Why FP don't support such a thing???

Well..it didn't have repeat and shuffle so i don't like it very much. :)
Well the repeat of selected song is done by long tap on file and select in popup "Repeat one play" ;)
as in FolderPlay v1.23.32 works that way....
For shuffle play...i think is done only by cue sheet (.cue) file
But how i don't know :-X as FILE command is ignored by FolderPlay ???
Edit:
The shuffle play and repeat songs in folder is done by long tap on "folder" and select "Play shuffled" or "Repeat all play"
And it is so lightweight media player for battery and has awesome "gapless playback" of non .mp3 files
