i know you gents all know well how little i know about this arena. Every tutorial and note i read about this is still a bit too much for me, so what i am looking for from you guys is a slightly more personally tailored suggestion for where to start reading. i mean basement-bottom start. i can't even ask questions without looking moronic yet!
=oP
Thanks, mates, especially for letting me look dumb without adding commentary about it ;)

The best place to start would really not be with Symbian C++
Qt, QML are much easier,
You need the Qt SDK for that, then it's best to study some basic open source Apps, my BigClock from store is a good example, if you press info- download the source code for v1.0 or I can email you v2.0

Thanks, mate ;)
i do have the Qt SDK on my Linux boot, but i have been busy in Windows lately and haven't even yet looked there. i will start there (lots of libraries are present, too). i have thought about downloading your source code, and i am going to do that now.
Thank you for responding :)
