Can anyone help me out with a problem i am having with the three patcher.ldd files and installserver not making it to C:\sys\bin after flashing my CFW? The mods i make to the CORE and ROFS2 work, but the UDA mods are spotty...

Topic moved to s60v3 forum.
What you mean by not making it ?
Are they just not there or not working ?
Best to make sure it all flashed properly, and since it's s60 v3 you can try JAF flashing program if your not already using it.

Thank you for responding.
i flashed with Phoenix because i was told that if the phone uses USB charging you are to flash with Phoenix.
EVERYTHING that i modded/removed/added worked except for the three patcher.ldd files in C:\Sys\Bin to make ROMPatcher work. They do not show up after flashing. It isn't the hardest thing to hack after the flash, but i am puzzled why only those three files would not flash... Even the mods to Starter_non_critical_1.rsc to add ROMPatcher to auto worked...

It's certainly a weird one, i guess you may be able to put them in the rofs2

Pardon me if i am mistaken, but i am certain that ROMPatcher looks for those files in C:\Sys\bin. In my first attempt at flashing, i put them in Z:\Sys\bin like you are saying, but ROMPatcher was not working that way. Also, the OS update patches are all to be installed on C:\ anyway, so it is rather important for the UDA to flash correctly.
In the end, hacking post-flashing is not really a big deal, but i will keep trying to get it right.
The positive thing is that the CFW is performing perfectly ;)
Thank you for consistently answering my posts and offering your help, mate.

Learned through this experience:
1. RPP works with files in z:\sys\bin\ (hooray for !:\)
2. Turn off antivirus programs and engines while flashing
3. It is not possible to copy files into \sys\ with scriptinit, apparently

Bingo.
Sorry for the very late acknowledgement. You were spot on. ;)
