Title: Music Player not working
Post by: arun_e on October 27, 2013, 07:37:31 am
Hi guys...

I'm using FMS XEON Custom firmware in my Nokia E7. Everything is working fine except my Music player and Hardware Keyboard.
My music player is working but its not finding any music files in the library. It always shows blank Library. And when performs scan it says " 0 files added ".....
And about the Keyboard, its ok and working... But the Symbols are misplaced. None of them are in the correct position. All alphabets are working fine but symbols interchanged their position. For Example, if i press "?" in the keyboard it insert " ' " and if press " ' " it inserts "?"... Similarly all symbols are taking the wring positions. None of them work correctly.

If anybody know how to solve these issues, please share your suggestions with me...

Thanks everybody....

Best you flash a different CFW, Xeon isn't a very good one.

Thanks for the reply.

Can you suggest a better CFW for my E7?

Probably your CenRep key is edited to look for a specific folder. Try the attached key by adding it to C:\Private\10202be9\ and enable CRepository4All patch with DomainSrv autostart.

That one is because your CFW is based on a different language set's ROFS2. Your PTI keymapping is different. The best person to talk to about this would likely be freaxs_r_us (http://sdf.allstarsoftware.co.uk/profile/?u=20917), because every time i have tried to change this i brick the phone.

Edit: Changed the language a bit.

Thanks dude... You are very helpful... I solved the music player problem by re-flashing. The problem was exactly what you told... anyway I will work on the keyboard problem soon..

Once again thanks for reply dude....  :)
