just find your lowest version in navifirm...it should be there...

11.33 is your lowest version...

yes anna not available for ur phone....just try to re-flash with the PR1.0

its called 11.33 or below

no use the lowest i mean pr 1.0 for c7 Then Anna
LOWEST MEANS FIRST VERSION DEVICE WAS SHIPPED WITH

all i want to say that on other such device when we flash phone for third time with our phones least version  then we actually update it because its least version is higher then the n8 v11 but in case of nokia 500 its least version v10 is lower than n8 ver 11 so in this case we downgrade it again so is it really work for nokia 500

So guys,i want to give it a shot on my nokia 500. I'm downloading now the lowest version of anna firmware which is 10.29. After I download it,I just have to flash it on the phone,right?? No N8 version Needed? If not this,can someone explain me how to do it? I don't want to brick my phone..

What is the lowest version of C6-01 (RM-601)?

And if I want just use the lowest version -> step 4 not needed? (flash the version you want)

Hi, I'm starting flashing on first step -> using N8 firmware RM-596 25.007

But show this error :

The flashing failed. Do you want to retry the flashing?

HRESULT 0x8401f141 (-2080247487)

Flash: Boot rom was not detected after phone boot up. Unable to start flashing.

When I start click Update Software button

And then show notification to connect the USB cable, mine is already connected with PC (off mode not on)

And then I get that error

Flashing started
Creating product data items list
Product data items list created
Backup not required
Flashing phone
Initializing
Scanning image files...
Waiting for USB device...
ERROR: Failed to set phone to flashmode


Please help

Ive tried flashing my 500, but no use cause its not possible to flash the N8 FW files cause I find it impossible to put the phone in flashmode via the 8second power button press.
So tried skipping it and flashing with the lowest Anna FW, the phone was dead so finally had to revert back to latest OFW i.e Belle, in short back where I started.

excellent post. i just wanted to verify 1 thing as m downloading both phoenix files right now and i want to do the downgrade on my e6. in the steps you said to download 2 RM versions for N8, in my case it will be 2 RM versions of E6 or do i need to stick with the N8 ones? please advise. thanks and great job on the tutorial very impressive.

No... u need to download Two types of version one is RM-596 version 25.007(N8 firmware)
second one is RM-596 version 11.005

and download your own Lowest version.. + your version which is you want to use after downgrade finally....
