Can someone make an application ,which uses wlan to share files,?
In this app,one mobile will work as host and other will copy the file from phone via wifi,

You can use Dukto R4 for symbian to transfer files
-
i don't know of a programme which purports transfer via wifi over two phones though dukto r4 and myexplorer work for pc.

I like this idea but likely, this has been developed by other platforms as well and they are not looking to be as efficient actually.
For example in my field, though there is a heavy need for transferring files, not a lot of people are actually making use of their smartphones to transfer files wirelessly because most of them are not on phones anyway.

this is a nice idea but do we really need this even if we have bluetooth on our devices?
