Torch + lock-key in power saving mode
« on: November 06, 2013, 09:04:16 pm »
Hi,

thanks padrino for the idea of this simple mod :)

The problem:
on phones with a LED torch (e.g. 808, 701 and C7) you can enable/disable the torch feature via holding the lock-key, but by default it's disabled in power saving mode

This mod
- does fix it
- keeps alive the torch if you go to power saver mode

How to install it
a) Extract dfs7x92_torch.rul to C:\private\10282bc4\rules\ and reboot
b) drop it into ROFS and flash

It's tested and working on a C6-01 with Anna and 808 FP2.

And i am a firm believer of accessing my full file system.
Hacking does not change your firmware, mate. That you get when you flash a custom firmware. Hacking just enables you to use the Open4All patch which unlocks your file system. It also allows you to install unsigned apps using CODeRUS' installserver.
It doesn't modify your firmware and it can be uninstalled at any point you wish.
