Resolution
« on: November 06, 2013, 06:46:32 pm »
Hi all....

I'm using Nokia E7, As its screen size is little more compared to N8 and C7, the icons are looking big. Is there any method to change the icon size or resolution so that the menu can accommodate more icons at a time?  8)
I don't like the Menu layout change mod as it just make the icons congested. >:(  Because it just brings the icons close without reducing the size.... :-X

Nope, no way at all.
Only those menu mods.

The icons are designed to slot in nicely.

But what if we use small icons in themes instead of default size...?? Will they automatically re-sized to default size ??  ::)

Icons are at the smallest possible size already (2x2).

Actually, there is a solution, mate:

1. Use Aquarius' Theme Graphics Switcher app to swap an S60v3 theme's icons into a Belle theme. S60v3's icons come out very small when you do this, perhaps based on the tiny screens of the v3 devices. The same grid layout was used on those 50mm screens as is used on the new +90mm ones.
2. Use a menu grid mod.
3. Use Fontzoomer or Font Magnifier to shrink the screen fonts' size to accommodate the squished menu grid.

Edit: Information about how this works.
