Updated 22.05.12: I checked the patch, and it will work on all Symbian Belle last firmwares, without fp1, sure.
Maybe this patch will make your phone more quickly.
I checked the FP1 power.dll library, and thought to patch the library from normal Belle with FP1 values.

Mine is heating too much while calling on GSM without overclocking, i guess i won't try ^^

it's a zip file..only rmp file are seen in rompatcher. so should i rename it to testcpu.rmp from testcpu.zip

just open the .zip, inside .zip file there is .rmp file

Because rompatcher applies patches once phone is switched on, right??

search for domainserver on forum and move it to c/sys/bin c/sys/hash and then open rompatcher you'll have the option.

To anyone who goes by what X-Plore is telling them about their clock speed:
First, that is nowhere near accurate (mine usually says 186MHz says 192MHz at idle).
Second, Symbian has adaptive clocking, so when it needs more, it takes more. You will not get to see what X-Plore has to say about your clock speed while you are using the processor heavily.

use it in Nokia N8 anna, feel the speed, happy although hope for more.
Pls tell me what the clock speed after mod is. Any possibility to push up more w/o hurting cpu

i hope anyone who thinks it is not working (except if you get red cross) reads this proof test:
1. Disable, remove from auto (if enabled) and restart phone.
2. Go to Settings>Phone>Speech and set the speed to its slowest setting. Listen to the voice sample (scroll to the tab to the right).
3. Enable the patch and listen to the voice again.
The patch works.

witj this mod, system hung sometime. Although not very serious, like to know it is normal, and any possible solution.

is this patch for belle only? tried on e7 (anna), didn't feel any difference
is there any tests proving improvements in performance?
i consider the voice test written above is not reliable
please provide examples of something what worked slow before patch and started to work faster after applying patch, so that everyone can check it

Find the app SpeedTest. It runs benchmark tests and running the app without the patch then domainsrv auto-start the patch and reboot, run the test again.
N8, E6, both on Anna, saw an improvement in test results.
