Symbian hack by Norton Security. By CODeRUS.
How to hack?
1. install NortonSymbianHackLDD.sis
2. Launch.
3. Go Options- Anti-Virus - Quarantine list
4. Go Options - Restore, accept prompt
5. Exit application, delete from App manager (Symantec Symbian Hack). Also delete c:\shared\ folder.
6. Install RomPatcherPlus_3.1_LiteVersion.sisx from hack archive
7. Launch and apply patches:

- Open4all for full access to file system
- Installserver for installing any unsigned applications.
If red cross - get installserver.rmp 1.7 HERE (http://sdf.allstarsoftware.co.uk/symbian3-modding/(tutorial)hack-symbian-without-flashing-(compatible-with-new-belle)/?action=dlattach;attach=3908)
and manually paste it to C/patches using signed x-plore or file browser attached....
Set patches to auto if needed (Options - Add to auto)
Hacked successfuly =)

****For Belle firmware V111.030.0607 User here is extra step to complete the hacking****
1.Download the file name Installserve_belle.zip below.
2.Extract it and copy paste it to c/sys/bin using signed X-PLORE
3.Reboot your phone.
4.Done.
****For Belle FP1 user(nokia 701/603/700) use the file browser attached as x-plore will not working in new belle FP1...:)...and also use the attached installserver.rmp 1.7.....extract it to c/patches and turn it on in rompatcher...:)

Im having problem with norton hacking.. I done everything and the problem i had now is i cant copy installserver to c:\sys\bin.. I cant expend c:\sys folder.. anyone can help me?

well make sure after quarantine that you install rom patcher and apply open4all patch only ;) it will work

Hi there!
After hacking the phone iam unable to connect to Internet or wifi even if the connection exits .
My c6-01 with belle, with many CFW's (tried 5-7 of them) has a big problem. Won't connect to internet. No data transmision whatsoever. Wifi doesn't connects but doesn't work. GPRS/EDGE (or what is the service) doesn't work. I have no idea what to do. By any chance you know a fix?

sometimes this happened to me too but hard reset or flash may fix it. Also if it's frequency is too much then contact Nokia care centre

It can be because of a wrong version flashed. The leaked belle had this bug!
Since original belle is available, flash with it and try once more, I am sure it will work

Yes, You will get Official Updates...

Hacking operation dont give you, any certificate error + you can try any CFW + you can install any app without any error.

in belle even the patches show green but actually it did't apply...you must do the extra step(move/copy installserver.exe to c/sys/bin)....:)

before move it...makesure you enable/apply open4all in rompathcer application first...

to unhack it just delete installserver.exe in c/sys/bin and uninstall rompactcher....norton now can be uninstall...it no longer use...:)

And if you want to unhack again ,just hard reset

Simplest method in unhacking.
Removed installserver.exe from C/sys/bin if you using it instead of installserver.rmp
Removed RomPatcher and Symantac Symbian Hack.

If you successfuly hacked your phone, the shared folder will be there in the root foldef of C.
And as i recall, removing the shared folder is not a mandatory. We can leave it as it is.

my main point was that ,there is no such risk in hacking :)

if some want to unhack, its better to Update software through nokia suite. its best option rather than deleting files.... n getting error of certificate errors :D

go to menu>tools>configuration
mark
1. Hidden files
2. System files
ram drive and rom drive are optional.

Im not sure the norton part is going correctly. i install norton hack, then go to quarantene list, resore all, then it says "restore failed: file already exists"

did you restore the quarantine?
go to norton )> options )> antivirus )> select "quarantine list" )> options )> restore all.
better to remove rompatcher+ first.
after you restore the quarantine then reinstall rompatcher.

first ,
download installserver_belle.zip from the first post.
Apply open4all in rompatcher
Open the zip file, then copy installserver.exe to c/sys/bin .
After that apply installserver in rompatcher.

Use installserver.exe instead of installserver.rmp. This error kinda common with the patch.

yup. now you can start the hacking. install x-plore first. then norton, open norton. options, quarantine list, options, restore all. done and exit norton. now you install rompatcher and apply open4all. if you running symbian belle. copy installserver.exe to C/sys/bin. all done. you can start installing or do some heavy modding.
and you can delete norton and if you wish, you can delete the shared folder in the root of C drive.

ok, apply open4all from rompatcher. then copy installserver.exe to C/sys/bin.
if you applied installserver patch from rompatcher, off it. that patch doesn't work on belle. even v1.7 still
not that good. use installserver.exe.

you put installserver.exe file in given location?
then restart your phone, then install any app... if no error comes that means you phone is hacked :D

I don't really understand, if you hack your phone what does is enable you to do?

Check the widgets threads, the themeFX threads and every threads on modding sections. This cannot be done on normal phone.
And, for everage user, hacking just make life a lil bit easier. No more certificate error.
P.S
And hacking and modding is very addictive, make sure you ARE ready to commit before you start.
Dang, losing a gf is not as devastating as losing your perfected mod (it was never ever there to begin with anyway, that's why it's addictive).
You have been warned, proceed with caution. :P

There's 1 thing from that widgets causing this. I can't remember what it was. Try different gallery widgets and see if still causing the same error.

Hacked my phone using Norton as said above.. Bur after hacking Installation of applications takes hell a lot of time... The "Preparing Installation" screen lasts for more than 10 or 15 minutes.. Sometimes not at all installing.. Please help me..

bro that installserver.exe is not a program you'll need to move that file into your phone in c:\sys\bin\ using xplore from the 1st post. If you're unable to view the folder apply open4all patch from rompatcher.

First apply open4all patch, open xplore copy the installserver.exe to c:\sys\bin. Your mobile should be hacked now. You can use nokia file browser from this attachment (http://sdf.allstarsoftware.co.uk/symbian3-modding/working-hack-for-nokia-belle-fp1-norton-symbian-hack-by-coderus/?action=dlattach;attach=3967) if you've problem in using xplore.

Installed "norton hack" app and restored all the quarantines, then installed "installserver rp+" and opened the "ROMPatcher Plus" and i chose Option - All patches - Apply.
Also, clicked "Add to auto" for both "Install server RP+" & "Open4All RP+".... and then rebooted my mobile....
tried installed an unsigned app called "Note Widget"... nothing worked out... same message again "Certificate error"... ???
don know wat to do??? :( :( ???

but i was wrongly moved New Taskbar ported from FP1 in C drive via X-plore

i am trying to install that norton symbian hack application but my phone displays an error " unable to install. Component is built in" what should i do ?? :(

****For Belle FP1 user(nokia 701/603/700) use the file browser attached as x-plore will not working in new belle FP1......and also use the attached installserver.rmp 1.7.....extract it to c/patches and turn it on in rompatcher...
I had to place installserver.rmp +1.7 on N8 to let hack works, anyway thx for this post!

for the first time norton hack works perfect.....
i did hard reset in c7 and trying norton hack again....in 'Norton Security'=>antivirus=>quarantine list=> if i try to restore the file it showing "restore failed: file already exist".....and also there is no file in 'rom patcher' to apply patch......what should i do now? pls help....

i don't have " bin " folder in " C/sys " folder
what should i do !?

well make sure after quarantine that you install rom patcher and apply open4all patch only ;) it will work

I've just got a second 808 PV firmware version 113.010.1506. 2012-08-30 RM807. I am wanting to hack this like my other 808 but I am having some annoying problems.
1. The Norton FP2 hack, when I tried to install the Norton, I got a component already installed error message
2. x-plore v.1.60, the option to put the code in the menu (I am transferring the licence from one IMEI to another) just simply not there in spite of lonely cat games assurance it was.
Can anyone help?

You will need to use the safemanager hack:

Thanks Paul however the tutorial given there I don't think covers enough of what to do when you have to create c/resource/switertstore/dat. I might be being dumb here but are you actually creating a new file to paste into?

hi! i have a nokia E7, i tried to install the hack and it works, but after i have a problem when try to install some widget: -component is integrated-, how could i solve this problem? i have the software 111.040.1511 and i have just read on other parts of the web that the hack is however possible (sorry for my bad english) please help me :(

Use iExtraX7's RunInstallServerNotForRom patch. Move ynstallserver.exe to C:\sys\bin and move the patch to your patches folder.
