yes mate...exactly..but it depend on package you use...if you use "from C" it will C:\Animations\Startup.gif...if you using "from E" it will  E:\Animations\Startup.gif....:)

I use the white gif from here : http://sdf.allstarsoftware.co.uk/symbian3-modding/(request)-help-to-built-a-new-startup/
and my own mp3, attached here.
Guess what car it is. :P
btw, hope i didn't broke any rules here by attaching the mp3 file.  :(

bro sorry to bother you again, but i tried and followed the instructions very well, i made a lot tweaking and modding on my N8 since the time i bought it more than a year a go, all works well, im just wondering why it cant just work for me this time, the only patch i use are Install Server, Open4All and SoundImprovementForBelle. thanks

leave it be for few restart, happens to me sometime. if after that still the same, check the file, maybe some thing not right.

does the resolution for .gif is limited to 360x640? if yes i think i know whats causing why i doesnt work, ok i'll try again.
