After Deleting folder......COMPASS WIDGET not working
You should have taken SANDRAXXX' advice to just soft reset...

Thanks but still Not working...

So

Deleted c\sys\install\sisregistry\    whole folder...(otherwise it say....update error)...restart phone....
Reinstall Compass widget.....Now Working...

:-p

btw

i think....if...now i want to uninstall previously installed app.....it won't uninstall.....m i right??

But its good trick to....avoid all type of installation(except Certificates) error....  :)

That was really ill-advised, mate.
Of course it didn't work - you already deleted the folder.
In the registry you can just use X-plore to open the .ctl (if you do not know the app's UID) to find out what app the folder belongs to and delete them individually.

No, it is a terrible idea.
If you want to force an install, use iExtraX7's RunInstallServerNotForRom patch. It is the bulldozer of installers.

it still gives "UNABLE TO INSTALL" error...

You renamed installserver.exe to ynstallserver.exe and used that patch?
i have installed incompatible apps using that patch (for testing purposes). No, they didn't work, but they surely got installed.

yeah....i've done all the things....but... UNABLE TO INSTALL ERROR still come....

AnyWay.... It's not big deal for me....bcz....my 500 is only for Beta Testing Purpose.....
