I open this thread since there are many threads being opened out of confusion between Belle and Belle FP1. You can Post all your Queries about the Firmware updates and Firmware Flashing / Modding !
The thread is all about discussion of Belle FP1 ( Code named carla ) & Belle FP 2 (Supposedly Donna ).
About FP1 update :
This is an upgrade Belle version Released for Second Gen Symbian Devices . which are : Nokia 603 , Nokia 701 , Nokia 700 , Nokia 808 PV .
The FP1 update for second gen devices rolled out in april-may 2012 for older Second Gens ! And the Mighty Nokia 808 PV was Shipped with Nokia FP1 on-board.
Second Gen Devices Currently have the FP1 firmware version : V.112.010.1404
Except the Nokia 808 PV, which runs on different FW version : V.112.020.0310
Recently Nokia 808 PV was updated to FP1 on July 10, 2012 to Version on V.112.20.311 on Navifirm.
The official change-log of FP1 as follows :
Changelog:
- Increased processor speed from 1GHz to 1.3GHZ
- 20 new homescreen widgets
- Dolby Headphone support
- Dolby Digital Plus functionality
- Improvements to the notification bar
- Improved multi-tasking view
- Updated version of the browser (8.2) with HTML support
- New Microsoft Apps
- Nokia Maps Suite 2.0
- Overall speed and Performance improvements

Flashing : Well flashing Procedure remains same as that of Belle devices ! If you are new Follow this Flasing Guide ! (http://sdf.allstarsoftware.co.uk/flashing-tutorials-(updating-and-downgrading)/)
NOTE :
The downgrade procedure for Second Gen devices is not yet Confirmed ! So do not try and Downgrade if you are not Sure !!
ABOUT FP2 UPDATE :
The Upadte v113.xxx (FP2 / DONNA {?!} ) for second gens is supposed Roll-out in Q3 2012 !

yeah. I know. images are just kind of extra. Main reason to open thread was to discuss firmware defects / problems & solving them

Do we know the new widgets coming in fp2? I've read "a lot of clock and agenda widgets", but in the video leaks (RDA), I haven't seen a comprehensive list of all widgets.
A negative (black<->white) set of widgets (black background for mail or calendar) would be great.
Waiting for week 36 as well :D

I haven't seen any new ones in fp2 to be honest.
