NaviFirm backup
« on: January 06, 2013, 03:08:04 am »
Hi
You all know that Nokia will block firmware servers this month.
So I made a little backup (05.01.2013):
- it contains for all phones the latest firmware
- for S^3 phones all firmwares
- for the most s60v5 phones all firmwares
- the hidden 808 113.10.1508 firmware
- all N9 and N900 firmwares
- for famous phones all firmwares (like e72, N95(8gb), e90 etc.)
- all Lumia fimwares
- navifirm it self with my settings

If you extract this it will be around 235 MB!
NaviFirm will be really slow at startup and while changing the server.

So, if I'm right, this is "NaviFirm" just with links to firmwares not on Nokia servers... Yes?

No only the links to the servers are inside.
I guess Nokia will block the search algorithm of navifirm, not the downloads.

Ok, before I download ... has anyone checked whether the download links are still valid/working? I would like to upgrade two E6 (RM-609, 059G1N1, Vodafone Branding) to the latest Belle Refresh Firmware (and remove the branding at the same time) ...
Thank you!
Cheers,
Lars

Nokia Care Server is still working, you can download without this cache.

Hi,
I was wondering, does anyone still have a back-up of navifirm cache files that include the nokia 603?
I really would like to the 112.010.1404 firmware.

Thanks

Feature pack 1, well, you can always download it from here: http://mrcrab.net/nokia/Nokia_603.html?productID=5005430050&productType=RM-779

But if you are running a higher version DO NOT flash the lower version, you will brick your device.

Thanks for this, but are you guys aware of this method (http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.php?topic=94403.0) using Nokia's Data Package Manager? i got all my OFW files for the E72, N8 and E6 using this method so i know it works.

i apologize - i meant no disrespect or ingratitude. i was only mentioning for anyone who was not able to get the firmware files they wanted. There is also mr. crab, too.
