CORE Resource\Versions\purpose.txt for anyone who finds the link is dead.
Best bet here is to repartition all of ROFS3 to ROFS2 and avoid ROFS3 altogether if you do not want the NokiaCooker message in your CFW. The .txt that is responsible is customersw.txt in ROFS3 and it will be branded automatically by NokiaCooker if the file passes through.
Please, if you release your CFW on a forum make sure to cite NokiaCooker was used to edit the firmware.

Thanks ;)

So "!" is like a wildcard then? A specific one, i guess, but i have seen it used in various code and markup language and am a little curious about this.

Not really, you see our forum uses different topic urls compared to other sites, but if unusual characters are used at the end it can cause mix ups, but it helps users id urls easier.
