Is this possible? i have been scanning config files for a while and i have not seen anything that looks like gold yet.
Could someone who understands how Open4All works (::)) possibly explain it to me so i might have a more focalised search for the file(s) to look into more closely?
Thank you :)

To add a more complete overview of where i am in this quest right now:
Anna v25.007\CORE\sys\bin\filemanagerengine.dll

So i think this is defining the hidden folders, but i am a little afraid of modifying the values without some encouragement.
Can someone please advise?

Just one more clarification: i do understand that this is just for the File Browser app and this particular excerpt is not covering ROM. There is obviously more to it, but i just want to know if this can unlock hidden files in the default file manager.
Gaining read/write priveleges and reading ROM is still ahead. One step at a time.

You're looking at the wrong file for a start :P
efile.exe is the executable that is patched, but on a more serious note this has being tried before, never succeeded to my record.
