Hello Pranil,
This Ashraf Alshahawy, Belle Extra Buttons developer, and I'm pleased to answer your queries.
Knowing that the new update comes with new feature 'Status pane buttons', which give you an access to 8 of most needed and preloaded functions via Home-screen, Menu & anywhere via Drop Down Menu. And these new buttons are available for both Nokia Belle Refresh and Nokia Belle FP2.
I am very happy with the new features of Belle Extra Buttons, but I think is good for you, the developer, if I make some suggestions or if I notify any little bug, or missing feature.
The most important missing feature for me is the lack of presence of the two B.E.B on the background screen. I apreciate and valuate the new button for the Drop Down menu, but I think it would be much better if the B.E.B remains on the background screen.
I think it is not too difficult, because there were working before, only issue was the buttons were overlapping a little with the new FP2 buttons.
I think if the B.E.B were moved only a litte to the corners, separating them a little, it would be much much better, because we are missing now the main purpose of the app, to have the Belle Extra Buttons present with only a click needed.
I would maintain also the new center button, to access the drop down menu.
When you open B.E.B you will notice 4 colored rectangles on top of screen, each one has two functions:
It would be better if the user could personalize the behavior of these rectangles when pushed:
i.e. I would like to have the clock app (with alarms) pushing the clock icon, instead of locking screen, and the conectivity menu from setting when pushing the conectivity icon, at it was in symbian s60 5 edition.
One more thing: I saw a little "bug".
When I use the button "add contact", the screen which opens for adding a contact is in English (instead Spanish which is my phone languaje), and the keyboard which opens to edit the new contact is the old fp1 keyboard, and the B.E.B are shown in the top of the keyboard.
Oh, another "bug". When I click on the "connectivity" icon on top of the screen, or if I add the 3g icon to B.E.B, nothing happens. If I had before 3G on, it remains on, and if it were off, it remains off. The only change is the icon of 3G in B.E.B, it changes from 3G, to 3Gx, but it doesn't work.
Thank you very much for your development and your work.
Your app is very useful, please people, BUY it, we need symbian developers to have revenue in order symbian could survive.
