Awesome System Application, must have app for Symbian Devices, its UI is just looks similar to Android System Management!

My Suggestions-
+ Increase the Size of the Widget! So it looks more beautiful at HS.
+ Add Option of 12/24 Hours (AM/PM) Time Format in Widget Settings.
+ Add a Secondary or more Widgets too (to show Battery, Processor, RAM, Wifi, Packet Data, Brightness and GPS)
+ Add more Information Display like About Device, GPS, Packet Data (Speed- Download/Upload), Brightness

Allot of comments, and no one giving me any rep for sharing:(. Joking. It's a bit slow this app, has allot of work to do. First it must be hidden from tasks. Then the cpu and ram are not refreshing in real time. It made my phone freezing two time by now:-??. But is a very promising app!

What firmware are you using?
I think you have some running cpu-exhausting tasks - you can check this in the task list.
If so, all apps will become a little bit slow.
Also qooSystem will collect all app icons in the beginning, so it is this time a little bit slow, but after that it will become very smooth.
If we increase the update rate for CPU-Usage, then the phone will become more slow - so your whish to have more performance AND a higher update rate is absolutly impossible.

Kindly
Stefan

Hey, it's an N8 belle refresh. And nope, i always close my tasks, even those who are invisible cause i use Best TaskMan and for me is quite the best task manager. Ok does not integrate well in the system but to use it as a task killer, is the best. The only app running in the back is: belle extra buttons. I like to keep my battery alive:). It is strange cause SwissMgr Pro is doing that quite easy and it's not slowing down the system at all. Give it a try, it has a small customizable icon that reads real time CPU usage and RAM usage. If they can, the... so can you:). First time it froze when I clicked "End GUI tasks" , it froze and restarted. After one hour it was just frozen so i needed to force restart. No i've uninstalled it, and everything is ok:-??.

Swiss manager pro is c++ written, i believe this is Qt, both have different performance ;)

Qt quick is the ui that most use, the base code for that is QML which is java based, and there is also pure Qt which does run better but nothing will run as good as the native c++.

Ja, ok, truth is that i don't know what kind of program has been used for creating the app. So, i maybe look for to much without questioning in what program has been written. Then why people are not using C++? As far as i have seen is not very hard to learn (for a programmer). Or at least to use the pure qt programmer... Java is known to be kind of sucky with symbian. I mean, with 3650, java games were running ok, with 6600 still ok, and so on, but after n70 i never downloaded a java game, laggy as s**t. Also with 5230, and still facing problems with s^3, no java game for me, especially the ones created ad hoc.

To create this qoo apps would have used Qt creator.

The problem with c++ is that it is harder then Qt and QML.

And QML is only java based not pure java so it runs better .

Hi folks,

we are using Qt (with C++) and the old carbide SDK in C++ together. Both are C++.
In Symbian there are many undocumented things and this is why some apps could do cooler stuff than others.
But we will give our best and we want to improve qooSystem as much as we can.

Does anybody else have problems with the function 'End GUI Tasks' ?

Kindly,
Stefan

But homescreen will be restarted, when you leave qooSystem, also contacts etc.
But there is no freezing.
Anyway we should implement a blacklist including homescreen.
