What's StarBrowser v1.50 ER like on The E6 mate ? I actually tested it on Anna but RDA is kinda shit :/
i haven't tried the offline installer yet 'cause i wanted to be able to review it. Come to think of it - will i be able to review if i already reviewed 1.4?
Anyway, i am installing it right now and i will let you know in a bit.

Quick question - can a local file be used as the homepage? If the antagonist exports his favorites to an html file, he could use it for his homepage an voila! Bookmarks for a homepage.

It should let you review it regardless, but this is Nokia so I wouldn't hold you're breath.

Yes of course one could, StarBrowser doesn't care we're the Homepage is as long as it has one :D
You can always just longpress on the Home button when you are on the local page ;)

Ok, first bug for the E6 is that some of the popup dialogs in the Tips menu don't fit in their boxes properly. i will send you some screen shots.
Pinch-to-zoom is rough, too, mate. i will have to compare this to the N8 later. Edit: just the first time. Now it is very smooth. So is scrolling (i see the Navi key is not supported [which makes perfect sense - no foul there, mate]). The scrolling is actually smoother than Opera or Web by a wide margin.
That seems to be it for bugs, though. i am not seeing what the complaint is about speed; it's just as fast loading pages as Opera or Web are.
The UI is slick; i like the transitions.
All in all, i really do see this winding up a true competitor for the hallmark of Symbian browsers, bro.
Nice work, indeed  ;)

Yeah the pinch to zoom can be an arse to get used too, I'll have to sort those popup boxes in the next few days, though I know that the wrongly named "Floating Buttons" is pissed.

Glad you like it, maybe I can get v1.50 final on store in a few weeks :)

Mission accomplished ;)

You can change the Menu Colour too, it changes alongside the Floating button

i saw that, but i only changed the progress bar's color (a little bit of customization showboating, eh?). The default color scheme is fine ;)

Yeah, why not ?  :D

I actually have everything black on mine, I don't like bright colour's myself, bit weird considering some of my Apps are bright and in you're face :P

For me it depends on the phone, oddly enough. The E6's LCD color absolutely smashes the N8's OLED, so i do things differently between the two.
But i hear you about loud, light color schemes; i like using dark themes when possible. My Linux configuration is pure black with dim fonts.

Wow, you sure you don't have a knackered AMOLED screen like I do ?

My N8 has the Purple Tint issue and the Colours are horrible until I put the brightness up to 75%

No, it's fine - i just prefer the color of the LCD. AMOLED does neon/fluorescent colors really well, but not so much for true-to-life representation i think.
i keep it at 50%, though. Maybe i should dial it up.
