first copy effects folder from z/resource to E:/
install the file to C drive.
Put custom effect folder in E:/ , overwrite if asked.
Reboot.
Note :
Some effects dont work on fp2 so you will have to ask the effect maker to make fp2 compatible effects.

whenever I install themeffects base pack my 603 start sleeping
i mean if I open anything it will open after 4 to 5 sec and one more thing task switcher stops working....
Can u explain why this happens ?

its because you use non compatible effects

Forget that bit, just download some effects and copy the folder named effects to E:/

Hi,
after unlocked my Phone, Installed an effects package like for example: *********.com_Theme effects base package_Belle_FP2_unsigned.sis or other.
After installing the package, I get into the symbian C:\resource\effects\manifest.mf ---> that is the XML file that contain the LIST of ALL effects that it will use on your symbian3 system (BELLE FP2 if possible).
I installed (copied) From my computer to the nokia phone (Mass memory) E:\effects\
all the effects found on a downloaded EFFECT PACKAGE like the "effects_Celestial_effects_silverstrom" for example *********.com_Celestial_effects_silverstrom.zip
on my Nokia 808 pureview to imporve the speed I modified on my computer the:
manifest.mf file with a txt editor.
TO REPLACE the current manifest.mf (previously installed by the Effect installer .sis) by the new modified manifest.mf file into the rigth place: c:\resource\effects\ YOU HAVE TO USE: SAFE MANAGER --> select tool fileManager.
WHAT I MODIFIED on manifest.mf to work fine on my nokia 808 pureview belle FP2:
changed the lines:
<effectdefinitions path="E:\effects\" max_transition_cache_size="1000000" max_cache_size="1000000">
instead of:
<effectdefinitions path="E:\effects\" max_transition_cache_size="1000000" max_cache_size="500000">
to increase the buffer and the reactivity and speed of effects (they were too slow with max_cache_size=500000 bytes !
I disabled (by comment) ALL the effects that were relationned with TASKSWAPPER. by defaut the nokia 808 pureview eachtime swapping screen OR long press on MIDDLE BUTTON to show launched app/task ---> GETTING a BLACK SCREEN during seconds.... :(

by disabling that, all come perfect and fast.
If you replace (COPY & INSERT) the manifest.mf file with SAFEMANAGER, you don't need to reboot the Phone.
the effects are updated actived or disabled in realtime.... :)

Don't use this on your 500, mate; this is for FP2 devices.
