V5 theme effects work on V3.2 no problems. Check this out:
Turn on your default theme effects in
Themes>General>Options>Theme Effects and you can change them using this tutorial:
http://sdf.allstarsoftware.co.uk/s60v5-modding/(complete-tutorial)-changing-theme-effects-(made-easy)/Paizul mentioned an extra step for anyone who uses C2Z: make a directory C:\Resource\Skins\101f84b9\ and copy Z:\Resource\Skins\101f84b9\101f84b9.sel into it. You might have glitches if you do not do this before you use C2Z.
