My friend Recently had this issue where he's touch wouldn.t register touches
he has a 5230....n i have a 5233
So i decieded to swap both phone's touch screen and see if its a hardware issue
Both phone's hardware was working perfectly
No problem was there!!!
Still his touchscreen didn't respond
We Re-installed His software with phoenix
for few hours it worked and then it had the same problem

Solution to this (that i found out sitting at resto
)
1)Switch off the Phone
2)Remove battery
3)Press power button for few seconds
the reason i tried i did this was to flush the stati electricity from the phone...
after that his phone is working just alright!
