Try to hard reset your phone.

Switch off the phone.
Press green key + red key + camera key and start key until you see the Nokia logo!

If it dosen't work, try to open the phone yourself(only if you know what you are doing) and check for loose connections. Check if the LCD connector cable and its connectors are broken.

Or try to flash your phone.

Many times my older Symbian phones had the same problem but they were fixed by the above written methods.

it's a hardware problem,we can not solve this by flashing or hard reset.

it's a hardware problem,we can not solve this by flashing or hard reset.
My 6260 had a damaged IC and it refused to start. Nothing came up on screen but the buttons were glowing.
I did a hard reset...later I found out that GSM radio was damaged!
Hard reset or maybe flashing may bring the phone to life but will not solve the hardware problem.

That might be different problem.
His phone is water damaged.
Maybe short-circuited too, battery also might be damaged.
Hard reset won't help.

It might help!
What's wrong in trying!? Like he said, nobody is repairing it. And flashing, hard reseting and checking yourself will cost nothing.

Hmm...
I think that you blew up the motherboard or some other important component that cannot be replaced.

Keypad Lights are working.
According to my knowledge lcd is damaged by water.
But unfortunately replacing lcd  is near impossible task ,if you are noob at hardware.
Once i replaced  nokia 6303's lcd ,that was easy,, but I wasn't able to remove  x6's lcd .
You need to go to  some repair shop.
If you want to take my advice, don't go to nokia care.
Go to some local repair shop.
(my experience was too bad at nokia care)

yeh bro...but its easy to remove lcd in nokia 5800..there are videos in youtube how to remove lcd in 5800..
and @Aimbot91 there maybe problem with circuit bro..remove your lcd and plug that lcd to another phone..u can see if it is working or not..
if not u have to change whole mother board... :-X...because your circuits damage with water so thats why maybe your phone not working..
and little tip..try to keep your phone dry....maybe still water drops inside in  the lcd......

@podi^wadda
mate ,repairing you phone yourself should be the last option,in my opinion.
I know this by my experience.
I have messed up so many times :/
it isn't a good idea ,even if there is some video.
And you are right water could have damaged his phone severely.
If it is so,then disassembling the phone at his own won't help.
He need to show it to pro.

He already said that he had showed it to many pros. But, evdrybody said that it cannot be repared.

Opening the phone himself is the only option left!

This method is not recommended to be done by NON-PROS...Do it at ur Own Risk!

ALSO WHEN U OPEN YOUR PHONE....

DO ONE LAST THING...

GO TO THE LOCAL BATTERY STORE AND BUY SOME PURE DISTILLED WATER BEFORE HAND

NOW TAKE A BRUSH WHICH IS NOT TOO ROUGH ON UR SKIN...Try Poking it against ur Cheeks... Take a Soft one!!!

Take your MotherBOARD and WASH IT THROUGHLY WITH ONLY DISTILLED WATER

Dont USE TAP WATER IT WILL DAMAGE MORE

CLEAN it throughly and let the motherboard DRY with normal surroundings....don't blow air, or heat to evaporate the water...

If Ur Not confident enough go to a LOCAL reputed shop with good amount of reputation to it...and tell them that it was drowned in water...and u wish to clean it with solution....they have some solution to clean accumulated SALT from the water LOGGING...

All THE BEST MAN...
Hoping Ur Phone Goes Alive Again!!!
