So i just decided to try some S60V5 theme effects out on V3 after i saw they are also written in KML, and THEY WORK!
Hacked phone and ROMPatcher+ with Open4All enabled and a C2Z patch are required. i use C2Z, because it is less buggy than E2Z.
First, create a C:\Resource\effects\ folder.
Second, create a C:\Resource\Skins\101f84b9\ folder and copy Z:\Resource\Skins\101f84b9\101f84b9.sel into it.
Third, download any set of V5 effects you want and copy them into your C:\Resource\Effects\ folder. To change effects, first turn theme effects off, then replace and turn them back on again.
Props to Paizul for the heads-up on copying the 101f84b9 manifest from Z:\ and Allstar12345 whose custom effects got me interested in trying this.
