Hi

I present my newest magic. The modification allows you to run any applications by pressing "1". Each dedicated key (calendar, contacts, email the Eseries, gallery, Nseries multimedia menu) has two files on disk CenRep Z. You can modify them and assign them to other keys. It should work on any v3 but please test.

1. On the memory card, copy one of the files: 1020E4FE.txt, 1020E4FF.txt, 10281CE1.txt, 10281CE2.txt, 10281CE4.txt, 10282BA4.txt the folder Z: \ private \ 10202be9.
2. Open it for editing. I chose 10282BA4.txt.
3. Select the application and store its UID.
4. Modify:

0x2: Here enter the UID
0x5: 0x31
0x6: 0x31
0x7: 1
0x8: 1

5. Save.

6. Save and rename the file to 10281CE7.txt or similar if the disk is a file with the same name. By the way, we will bring the myth that the phone will not read the script from the C drive if it is not the same with the same name on Z.

7. We move to C: \ private \ 10202be9 and we restart the phone.

8. That's all.

Thanks!

Do you if it is possible to enable the volume buttons to work while the keypad is locked like on S^3 devices? i have been reading the sonja files line by line trying to find one that controls those buttons, but i have not yet seen them being referenced.

Well, that really needs some sort of Application running, you see, to what I know S^3 will have it's own process in the background with a Media Key sniffer type App.

It will be on the "To Do" list for me, friend. i have to be able to walk before i can run. My limit right now is reading and modifying where possible. Writing from scratch is light years away ;)
