does your firmware consists of 8 files ?

IT better you have nokia suite installed in your pc because it will install required driver connection for your phone...For your information this doftware only tool for flashing/install firmware to your phone....before that you must have your phone FIRMWARE...to get your phone firmware you must download it via NAVIFIRM....you can get navifirm here...:)

once you finish downloa your phone firmware copy all(normally it 8 file) to this directory in your computer.c/program file/nokia/phoenix/product/RM-xxx .....RM-xxx is accorrding to tour phone RM-....example N8 is RM-596..and C7 is RM-675....but by default there is no RM-xxx folder in c/program file/nokia/phoenix/product/...so you must create it manually...:)

Try disabling your antivirus while installing phoenix as it will remove some files while it's being installed which results in the nokia dongle error.
