Author Topic: J.A.F Nokia Phone Flasher with Flashing guide [Only for S60v5]  (Read 15049 times)

J.A.F Nokia Phone Flasher with Flashing guide [Only for S60v5]

Download Tools for Flashing:/
1. Download and install JAF
2. Download and install Nokia PC Suite

Note: This is only for flashing S60v5 softwares. For Symbian^3 phones, use this Phoenix

Flashing with JAF:
1. copy all firmware to : "C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-356\"

2. Conect your phone with PC Suite Mode
3. now open OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v3.exe
Note: IF you are on Windoes 7, you need to right click on "OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v3.exe" then go to properties and set it to "Compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3" and run it as Administrator!

4. click GO

5. Error: BOX DRIVER NOT INSTALLED ==> click OK

6. Select BB5 ==> Manual Flash ==> Dead USB ==> Use INI

7. Select your phone model

8. You will see MCU, PPM, CNT, APE Variant become green

9. Now TURN OFF your phone !! and then click FLASH button after that press power button (don't hold it) on your phone and JAF will start flashing.

10. When flash will finish restart your phone (by releasing your battery and put it back)

very well guided bt i have confusion tht which files u put in folder in first step..weather its original core files or it is modded core n rofs2 files....pls guide me through dis...which 8 files are they??

it can be orgional and it also can be modded core...it depend...if you flashing official firmware than it will origional core...but if it CFW...than it will be modded core......:)

thnk u...have flashed my phone..i want one more fever from tht could pls give me link for c6-photon cfw..now i want to flash with tht..i have already flashed with linspirat bt its jst so so...means not tht mch gud

JAF is not showing 5233 RM-625
what to do now... tried all the JAF's..

i try the jaf but....the APE doesn't turn to light green.....

i continue but it say that

display Phone failed to boot in flash mode CMT

what should i do???? :-X :-X :-X
