Qt is a great Power to symbian yeah great, use it and you'll understand.
With the greatne of features in lesser price symbian is the way to go.
Now talking about the maybe possible future updates symbian Carla and donna
Carla brings us the Meego goodies and all symbian belle phones would be intui it :)
donna is the first ever Dual core processor support for symbian.
With the largest share in the market.
SYMBIAN ISN'T DEAD YET.
