Hi!
I have a Nokia 700 with the latest official firmware. And depending on the app one is using, there sometimes IS a scrollbar that one can use to slide long lists down really fast, and sometimes there isn't.
I would like to know, if there is something I can do to ALWAYS have a scrollbar. There are lists in some of my music players, for example, that are so long that it literally takes me minutes to scroll them down. With a scrollbar this would happen in seconds.
I hope you know, what I mean!
Looking forward to your answers!

For a third party apps, the scroll bar is implemented by the apps developers itself. There is nothing you can do if the developers didn't implement it in first place but you can email the developer about the scroll bar idea.

Thanks for your swift answer, symster!

If your phone is hacked, you could always use a kinetic scrolling mod for improved speed moving through menus.

OK matthew! I'll try that! I also installed TweakS and will see what that does.
Thank you for the tip!

Depends on if the App in particular is Native c++ or not.
Qt widget and Qt Quick Apps have their own scrolling systems.

Ah, yes.

Sorry to blow ones bubble. :)

Thanks anyway. :D

@Allstar this is off-on-topic, i think;
X-plore is native C++, right? Why is it that the scrolling in X-plore doesn't follow the system's typical scrolling speed? Can that be changed in the app's code?

Devs can write their own Scroll View if they want, on changing it I can't say I know, they did actually nearly release its source code once to a member of our Facebook group.

Thank you for adding to my knowledge base ;)

Saying that, I might ask them myself, they wanted to know what we would do with it.
I'm sure I could give them a good word.
