Hi,
Recently I noticed in my Nokia 500, running on official but hacked belle refresh, an app/process named "WidgetUI" is taking up huge RAM space, resulting in a very few free space available for other apps. Some times the free memory gets as low as 10MB!! And the rest of all is then taken by widgetui. The interesting thing is, only RAMblow app reports it as a task that can be closed by user and simply terminating the process releases all the memory back! Though RAMblow reports the app has taken only 117KB, which is somewhat contradictory. Here I've attached a couple of screenshots I captured when I had only 44.5 MB of free RAM and that too when only 6 apps/processes are running. After terminating the widgetui, I regained about 35MB more RAM!
Does anyone else experiences similar behaviour on your device? What exactly is this widgetui? Also sometimes after closing it, I'm unable to use anything that is placed on my homescreen but switching between the homescreens, until reboot. Can somebody please explain me what is actually happening here?
